What you will do
- Supervise, guide, and direct maintenance employees in support of departmental operations.
- Execute planned and scheduled maintenance operations within assigned areas.
- Address performance issues and promote company safety policies and operational expectations.
- Communicate regularly with shop-floor employees and respond to workplace concerns.
- Coordinate resources, organize work areas, and support department and company objectives.
- Complete special projects and other assigned duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; a two-year college degree is preferred.
- At least two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment.
- Practical understanding of industrial maintenance principles, standards, methods, and practices.
- Knowledge of disciplined problem-solving and positive employee-relations practices.
- Demonstrated leadership, sound business judgment, strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts or rotations and extensive hours supporting continuous operations.
