Senior Business Analyst (SAP Analytics)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; remote work is available from any location in Hungary with occasional office attendance in Budapest and at company events.

What you will do

• Elicit, analyze, and document requirements for analytics and reporting use cases.
• Moderate workshops and align stakeholders across business functions, IT, and external partners.
• Analyze SAP ECC business processes, data flows, document chains, quantity and value streams.
• Translate business logic into KPI definitions, reporting requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Shape modern analytics concepts, including data products, semantic layers, KPI governance, and SAP Business Data Cloud direction.
• Maintain the backlog, coordinate consultants and developers, and support release planning, UAT, defect triage, documentation, and training.

Requirements

• University degree in Business Informatics, IT, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, or Functional Consultant in an SAP-centric environment.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ERP ECC processes and data, especially quantity and value flows and their impact on analytics.
• Experience translating business process logic into KPI definitions and reporting requirements.
• Strong facilitation, communication, analytical thinking, requirements engineering, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in international, virtual, and cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of analytics architectures, semantic models, data modeling, data quality, and KPI governance.
• Exposure to SAP BW, BW/4HANA, CDS-based concepts, or other SAP analytics components.
• Experience with transformation programs migrating from legacy solutions to modern data and analytics platforms.
