Requisition to Receipt Optimization Expert (S2P)

What you will do

• Design and continuously improve end-to-end Requisition-to-Receipt processes for direct and indirect procurement.
• Identify root causes of maverick buying, delayed receipts, approval delays, and other process inefficiencies through data-driven analysis.
• Partner with IT and platform owners to configure procurement systems and define requirements for automation initiatives, including mobile receiving, AI-powered assistants, and self-service portals.
• Monitor procurement KPIs such as PR-to-PO cycle time, receipt compliance, supplier performance, savings realization, and user adoption.
• Define standard operating procedures, purchasing-channel governance, delegation-of-authority compliance, and regulatory controls.
• Act as the global R2R subject matter expert, providing consultation and training while leading stakeholder collaboration and change adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven experience with Source-to-Pay or Procure-to-Pay processes, preferably in a large multinational organization.
• Deep understanding of S2P processes, best practices, systems, and related technologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, influencing, collaboration, and change-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, transversally, and in a highly matrixed global environment.
• Fluent English, spoken and written, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing S2P technology solutions such as e-invoicing and spend analytics.
• Knowledge of SOX requirements as applied to S2P processes.
• Experience in healthcare or life sciences.
• Experience establishing and developing shared service capabilities.
