Director, Architectural Design (Life Sciences)

Location: Raleigh, NC, USA; full-time onsite role

Salary: USD 155,000–205,000 yearly

What you will do

• Provide enterprise technical leadership for the architectural discipline within the Technical Advancement Group.
• Develop, maintain, and govern architecture standards, best practices, tools, systems, and delivery methodologies.
• Evaluate and implement technical innovations that improve project execution, quality, and efficiency.
• Support complex projects through technical governance, execution risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
• Develop discipline-specific training curricula and promote knowledge sharing through communities of practice and technical forums.
• Support proposals, pursuit strategies, Go/No Go processes, and rollout of technical initiatives across regions and project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in technical leadership, design, engineering, or project delivery within the AEC industry.
• Experience developing, implementing, or governing technical standards, best practices, tools, or systems.
• Strong understanding of design, engineering, and construction delivery for complex and technically demanding projects.
• Professional licensure.

• Experience with life sciences, advanced manufacturing, or food and beverage projects.
• Experience leading standardization, innovation, and change-adoption initiatives.
• Ability to collaborate with senior leadership, regional discipline leaders, and project teams.
