Managing Consultant (Director level) - Financial Services

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark; predominantly client-site work. Travel outside Copenhagen may be required.

What you will do

• Advise financial-services clients, identify business challenges, develop solutions, and drive implementation.
• Provide strategic advice to senior executives on AI adoption, digital transformation, operational efficiency, risk management, and sourcing strategy.
• Lead project teams delivering high-quality solutions with measurable business impact.
• Lead strategic accounts and financial-services sales initiatives across the firm.
• Develop innovative propositions in IT and digital strategy, business transformation, architecture, and corporate services.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the global hirify.global network and develop team capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree in economics, engineering, IT, data science, or a related field is highly preferred.
• At least 8 years of management consulting experience focused on financial services, or a combination of advisory and internal managerial experience in a large client or corporate finance environment.
• Experience delivering projects involving strategy development, process improvement, and technology implementation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, and influencing skills.
• Verifiable sales experience is required.
• Fluency in Danish and English is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience in operational excellence, AI adoption, CIO advisory, data science, cybersecurity, business and digital transformation, operating-model transformation, regulation, risk, or growth strategy.
• Proficiency in additional languages.
