Philadelphia Technology Audit & Advisory Associate Director

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States; hybrid workplace with in-person work at local offices and client sites. Travel may include local or out-of-state assignments. hirify.global is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska.

Salary: $135,000–$229,000 per year, plus a 16% annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Lead technology audit and advisory engagements, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and review of audit deliverables.
• Assess and advise on cybersecurity, cloud assurance, technology risk, AI and data governance, privacy, resilience, enterprise applications, ITGC, and SOX compliance.
• Develop strategies and solutions using analytics, automation, AI, and emerging technology tools.
• Manage client relationships, communicate technology risks and audit issues to executives, and identify new project opportunities.
• Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop engagement teams while overseeing project work plans and performance.
• Contribute to thought leadership, training, knowledge sharing, and technology enablement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information technology, cybersecurity, business, or a related discipline.
• 9+ years of experience in technology audit, consulting, assurance services, risk and control programs, or a related field.
• Experience leading teams, implementing IT audit methodologies, and developing process flows, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries.
• Knowledge of control frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, NIST CSF, NIST AI RMF, CIS, ITIL, or CMMC, and Sarbanes-Oxley technology requirements.
• Direct supervisory experience, including performance reviews, mentoring, coaching, work review, and team coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft O365 and the ability to communicate technology and audit topics to senior client stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as CISA, AAIA, CISM, CISSP, CIA, CRMA, or a similar credential.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, AI/ML, or analytics tools.
• Experience with enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics.
