Senior Tendering Engineer (Civil)

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global office in Cairo, Egypt

What you will do

• Analyze tender specifications, drawings, and documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Prepare bills of quantities, quantity take-offs, preliminary budgets, and cash flow scenarios.
• Evaluate material and subcontractor enquiries and quotations and coordinate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
• Assist with tender schedules, Level 2 programs, technical submittals, contractual reviews, and commercial evaluations.
• Prepare cost estimation reports and present findings to management.
• Conduct risk and opportunity analysis and support joint venture and consortium tender coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in the construction industry.
• Strong background in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and technical office work.
• Experience with bills of quantities, quantity take-offs, cost control, and tendering or pre-contract activities.
• Good understanding of contracts, variations, and commercial aspects, with strong analytical and coordination skills.
• Very good command of English required.
