Operational Resilience Consultant (Cybersecurity)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working with a minimum of two days per week in the office or on client site.

What you will do

• Analyse end-to-end operations to assess and improve business resilience.
• Evaluate vulnerabilities across third parties, people, security, and critical IT functions.
• Apply risk management principles to operational resilience and regulatory challenges.
• Advise clients beyond traditional business continuity management.
• Help shape and develop the Operational Resilience team.
• Contribute to thought leadership and create assets that strengthen team capabilities.

Requirements

• Approximately three or more years of technical experience in operational resilience, business continuity, third-party risk, crisis management, IT service management, IT continuity, security, risk management, supply chain resilience, or disaster recovery.
• Multidisciplinary consulting perspective and a strong interest in designing resilient businesses.
• Stakeholder management skills and experience managing interactions across an organisation.
• Knowledge of IT department operations and how IT vulnerabilities can affect business performance.
• Experience with relevant international standards for resilience, risk management, information security, and service continuity.
• Applicants must be British citizens or have at least five years of continuous UK residency to meet potential security-clearance requirements; background checks and Baseline Personnel Security Standard clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with COBIT and ITIL service models.
• BCI, DRI, CISSP, or IRM certification.
• Financial services regulation knowledge or a financial services background.

Hiring process

• Initial call with a technology recruiter.
• Two competency or technical interviews, one hour each.
• Final one-hour meeting with a PA leader, including a mini case study and client-centricity discussion.
