Digital & Cyber Resilience Manager (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Own and evolve the Technical Resilience Framework, policies, standards, patterns, guardrails, and playbooks.
• Lead cyber recovery capability, including recovery objectives, cyber recovery plans, and Minimum Viable Business approaches for systems supporting Important Business Services.
• Drive technical service continuity by maintaining criticality assessments and data and system recovery plans.
• Coordinate disaster recovery, failover, backup, cyber recovery, chaos engineering, and tabletop exercises, reporting outcomes and remediation.
• Assess technical service risks for new and changing services and report resilience posture, KRIs, metrics, and assurance evidence.
• Improve cyber incident readiness and resilience culture in collaboration with engineering, SRE, security, risk, operations, and business continuity teams.

Requirements

• Experience leading technical or cyber resilience, disaster recovery, or SRE capabilities in a complex regulated environment; financial services experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ransomware response, immutable backups, clean-build patterns, recovery orchestration, and cyber recovery planning.
• Experience with hybrid infrastructure and cloud-native architectures, preferably AWS, including redundancy, failover, dependency management, and fault isolation.
• Practical experience designing and running resilience testing programmes, including DR exercises, failover testing, chaos engineering, and technical tabletop exercises.
• Knowledge of UK FCA/PRA operational resilience expectations, impact tolerances, Important Business Services protection, and DORA-equivalent principles.
• Strong stakeholder influencing, communication, metrics, KRI, and evidence-reporting skills across technical and executive audiences.

Nice to have

• ISO 22301, CBCI, CISSP, ITIL, AWS Solutions Architect, or AWS Well-Architected certifications.
