Senior Operational Resilience Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Maintain inventories of business services, supporting functions, processes, assets, controls, impact tolerances, RTOs, and RPOs.
• Support business impact assessments, operational resilience planning, incident management, and business continuity testing.
• Identify vulnerabilities, single points of failure, and interdependencies across trading services.
• Design and deliver severe-but-plausible scenario exercises, document results, and track remediation actions.
• Lead first-line assessment and implementation planning for MiFID II/MiFIR, DORA, EMIR, and incoming regulatory requirements.
• Build AI-driven automation for evidence collection, event correlation, monitoring, reporting, incident management, and change management.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in technology risk management, business continuity, or operational resilience.
• Hands-on experience using AI-driven automation for BC/DR evidence collection, test execution, and recovery workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills across a three-lines-of-defence framework.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
• Ability to learn business services and systems quickly, with a strong interest in technology.
• Ability to work mostly on-site in London or Amsterdam.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PRA Policy Statement 21/3, DORA, MiFID II/MiFIR, and EMIR.
• Experience in financial market infrastructure or trading environments.
• Previous hands-on first-line engineering experience.
• Certifications such as CBCI, CISA, FRM, or PRM.
