Senior Operational Resilience Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Maintain inventories of business services, supporting functions, processes, assets, controls, impact tolerances, RTOs, and RPOs.
• Identify technology and operational risks, vulnerabilities, single points of failure, and service interdependencies.
• Design and deliver resilience testing, including severe-but-plausible scenario exercises, and track remediation actions.
• Build automated AI-driven solutions for BC/DR evidence collection, event triage, incident management, change management, and recovery workflows.
• Lead first-line assessment and implementation planning for regulatory requirements including DORA, MiFID II/MiFIR, and EMIR.
• Prepare operational resilience assessments, management information, regulatory registers, and reports for senior management, committees, and audit.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in technology risk management, business continuity, or operational resilience.
• Hands-on experience using AI-driven automation for BC/DR evidence collection, test execution, and recovery workflows.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across a three-lines-of-defence control framework.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
• Ability to learn complex business services and systems and work across Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Audit.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PRA Policy Statement 21/3, DORA, MiFID II/MiFIR, and EMIR.
• Experience in financial market infrastructure or trading environments.
• First-line engineering experience.
• Certifications such as CBCI, CISA, FRM, or PRM.
