Compliance & Risk Specialist (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid, working on and off client site in Alexandria, Virginia, across the Mid-Atlantic region; U.S. citizenship required.

What you will do

• Support human capital programmatic evaluation and cybersecurity compliance for federal clients, including the National Science Foundation.
• Identify and manage risks, maintain risk logs, and support governance activities.
• Ensure compliance with FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, Section 508, and federal data privacy mandates.
• Support audits, reporting, regulatory documentation, and compliance deliverables.
• Improve operational efficiency through digital transformation, process automation, analytics, and business intelligence.
• Support integration of IT systems and workforce planning tools while optimizing service delivery against performance outcomes and SLAs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or IT.
• At least 5 years of risk or compliance experience.
• Experience in government and public services is relevant to the engagement.
• Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools, analytical work, documentation, and reporting.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
• U.S. citizenship is required; visa sponsorship, including H-1B and TN sponsorship, is not available.
