Private Markets Secondary Data Associate

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and retirement contributions

hirify.global is building a Secondary Data Strategy capability to improve data quality, analytical insight, and scalable reporting across its private markets secondaries platform.

What you will do

• Capture, structure, and maintain deal-economics and underwriting data in designated databases and workflows.
• Populate pricing and underwriting datasets accurately for downstream analysis and reporting.
• Normalize GP, fund, and related entity names across internal systems and outputs.
• Review source materials and extract relevant financial and deal data.
• Coordinate with an offshore counterpart to resolve inconsistencies and maintain data-quality standards.
• Escalate exceptions, improve standard operating procedures, and identify opportunities for more efficient structured workflows.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in data capture, financial data operations, investment data management, or a related function.
• Strong data-structuring skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Familiarity with financial or deal-related data and structured or semi-structured information sources.
• Ability to manage high-volume data capture while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CapIQ, PitchBook, Preqin, or Bloomberg.
• Proficiency in Excel and working familiarity with SQL, VBA, or Python.
• Exposure to private markets, alternative investments, or related financial datasets.
