Associate, Apollo Capital Solutions – DCM (Capital Markets)

Location: New York, New York; full-time onsite role

Base salary: $175,000–$200,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead transaction pipelines from origination through execution, providing reporting and updates to senior leadership and external counterparties.
• Prepare and review underwriting memos, credit briefings, and approval documentation.
• Screen and underwrite leveraged finance and private credit transactions, including LBOs, leveraged loans, high yield bonds, securitizations, and asset-backed financings.
• Prepare portfolio performance reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct capital markets analysis and maintain databases covering leveraged loans, high yield, LBO, and private credit markets.
• Manage bank relationships and contribute to strategic projects across the hirify.global Capital Solutions platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated suitability for the role.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, capital markets, leveraged finance, sponsors coverage, or another capital markets role.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and credit fundamentals, with experience across the full deal lifecycle.
• Hands-on underwriting experience in leveraged financing and working knowledge of the capital structure, including securitizations and asset-backed financing.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions with strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg.
