Manager, Trade Operations (Credit)

Location: hirify.global Place, 181 Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 120,000–135,000 per year

What you will do

• Execute, monitor, and oversee the full trade lifecycle for fixed income, syndicated loan, derivative, treasury, and other credit-related transactions.
• Manage trade affirmation, matching, funding coordination, settlement, fail management, break investigation, exception resolution, and wire settlements.
• Process treasury transactions, cash movements, payments, and funding requirements through bank portals, SWIFT networks, and payment systems.
• Coordinate with custodians, counterparties, brokers, banks, settlement agents, portfolio managers, traders, and asset managers.
• Maintain operational controls, SOC 1 framework enhancements, account documentation, KPIs, SLAs, and management reporting.
• Lead process redesign, automation, system implementations, user acceptance testing, and continuous improvement initiatives while mentoring Trade Operations personnel.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience processing and settling fixed income, syndicated loan, derivative, and treasury transactions.
• Advanced knowledge of trade lifecycle management, settlement operations, and post-trade processing.
• Strong working knowledge of SWIFT messaging, wire processing, cash management, and payment systems.
• Experience with OMS, PMS, custodial platforms, treasury systems, settlement platforms, and reconciliation tools.
• Demonstrated ability to investigate and resolve complex settlement exceptions, trade breaks, cash discrepancies, and operational issues.
• Strong understanding of global custody, DTCC, Euroclear, Clearstream, collateral management, and derivative operations.
• Experience leading operational teams while remaining directly engaged in daily execution.
• Proven ability to identify automation opportunities and drive operational process improvements.
• Must work at hirify.global Place in Toronto, Ontario.
