Business Finance Partner (Banking)

Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States; on-site work. Additional listed locations include Fishers, Independence, Bellevue, and Northwest Bancshares headquarters.

What you will do

• Partner with Consumer Banking Lending leadership on financial analysis and strategic guidance.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including variance analysis and performance reviews.
• Develop forecasts, budgets, and long-range planning models for revenue-generating units and support functions.
• Analyze business drivers, trends, profitability, risks, opportunities, and performance metrics.
• Prepare executive presentations and financial packages for senior management.
• Support business cases, pricing analysis, product profitability reviews, investment decisions, strategic planning, and stress testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial reporting, forecasting, or related finance functions.
• Experience supporting banking or financial services business lines, including knowledge of banking concepts such as funds transfer pricing.
• Strong understanding of consumer banking, wealth management, deposits, and related financial performance drivers.
• Proven ability to build financial models, forecasts, and executive-level reports, with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and stakeholder-influence skills.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, CFA, or another relevant professional designation.
• Experience with Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning, or other ERP/EPM systems.
• Knowledge of banking regulatory reporting and profitability methodologies.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools.
