Scaffolder Foreman (Supervisor)

What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling activities on site.
• Lead scaffolding crews and provide technical guidance and on-the-job support.
• Conduct scaffold inspections, tagging, and certification using the Scafftag system.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved method statements, HSE regulations, and company procedures.
• Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, and HSE teams to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
• Monitor progress and report daily activities, challenges, and resource requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or a high school diploma with relevant scaffolding certifications.
• Valid Scaffolding Supervisor Certification, such as CISRS or an approved equivalent, and Work at Height training.
• 5–7 years of scaffolding experience in oil and gas or petrochemical projects, including 3–4 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Tube & Fitting and system scaffolds, including Cuplock and Ringlock, load classifications, scaffold drawings, design layouts, and method statements.
• Understanding of scaffold design principles, load calculations, HSE standards, Permit to Work systems, risk assessments, and Job Safety Analysis.
• Fluent spoken and written English is required.

Nice to have

• Previous experience on ADNOC or similar Middle East EPC projects.
• Knowledge of ADNOC or equivalent HSE standards.
