Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates — office. The role requires travel to ADNOC offshore sites for surveys, field verification, structural assessments, and engineering data collection.

What you will do
- Lead offshore structural engineering delivery for fixed platforms, jackets, topsides, bridges, flare structures, supports, and brownfield modifications across concept select, FEED, detailed engineering, EPC, and construction phases.
- Act as the structural discipline focal point for assessments, reassessments, modifications, strengthening, life-extension, checking, approval, and technical assurance.
- Prepare execution plans, design bases, engineering philosophies, deliverable registers, checking matrices, and work-hour estimates.
- Define analysis approaches, review assumptions and results, and approve calculations, reports, specifications, drawings, and other technical deliverables.
- Develop solutions for corrosion, damage, anomalies, previous modifications, repairs, replacements, and remaining-life issues.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary reviews and manage progress, schedule, budget, manpower forecasts, workshare, subcontracted engineering, quality, and change control.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of oil and gas structural engineering experience, including 10 years in fixed offshore structural engineering and 5 years in a lead role.
- Experience across FEED, detailed engineering, EPC, PMC, construction support, offshore installation support, and brownfield modification projects.
- Hands-on experience with fixed offshore assets, structural integrity, reassessment of aging facilities, anomaly mitigation, site surveys, and as-built verification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in SACS and strong knowledge of offshore structural analysis, including in-place, transportation, lifting, fatigue, seismic, dynamic response, pushover/RSR, accidental load, pile/foundation, and integrity assessments.
- Valid OPITO-approved T-BOSIET/BOSIET and H₂S certifications with at least six months of validity are preferred.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, Offshore Engineering, or a related discipline.
- ADNOC Offshore, ADNOC Group, Middle East, or comparable major operator brownfield offshore experience.
- Knowledge of ADNOC Offshore specifications, API RP 2A-WSD/LRFD, ISO 19900/19901/19902, AISC 360, AWS D1.1, and relevant DNV practices.
