Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Sensata Wuhu, China; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Collaborate with local and global engineering teams to design products that meet customer specifications.
• Perform static and dynamic design and analysis of electro-mechanical components.
• Conduct design verification and experimental testing, then synthesize empirical data into design recommendations.
• Participate in feasibility studies, technology selection, conceptual and detailed design, and prototyping.
• Complete drawings, technical documentation, and releases in internal systems for production launches.
• Coordinate failure analysis investigations and engineering evaluations with technicians, drafting teams, suppliers, and customers.

Requirements

• University degree, such as a bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, mechanics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
• Ability to manage multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced environment and achieve defined goals and standards.
• Strong oral, written, presentation, organization, planning, and time-management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for working with all organizational levels, suppliers, and external customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; strong ethical values and integrity.
