What you will do
- Work primarily on VAVE projects for existing products, with some sustaining engineering projects.
- Own the mechanical engineering scope and coordinate design changes with Sourcing, Quality, Service, Technical Support, suppliers, and Operations.
- Create, update, and maintain 3D/2D drawings and Bills of Materials.
- Develop technical solutions that improve product reliability and reduce costs without compromising quality or customer needs.
- Create test plans and validate design solutions using laboratory testing, analysis, and simulation tools.
Requirements
- Experience with mechanical design engineering and product sustaining activities.
- Ability to produce and maintain 3D/2D engineering drawings.
- Experience creating and managing Bills of Materials.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and operations.
- Knowledge of design validation through testing, analysis, and simulation.
