Sr. Accountant - Fixed Assets for Multibillion AI Hardware ODM/OEM

Location: Secaucus, New Jersey, United States; onsite

Salary: $87,375–$128,150 per year, plus potential bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of capital projects and fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, retirements, and payments.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the SAP fixed asset system and subledger.
• Prepare and review monthly close activities, including depreciation, impairment analysis, reconciliations, and rollforwards.
• Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts and support quarterly and annual financial statements and footnote disclosures.
• Maintain SOX-compliant controls covering reconciliations, approvals, and system security.
• Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, Operations, FP&A, and External Reporting on capital expenditure accounting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting, a large organization, or a publicly traded company.
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and significant experience with PP&E and capital expenditure investments.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, presentation, prioritization, and process improvement skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment and communicate financial concepts to non-financial partners.
