Sr. Accountant, General Ledger

Location: Denver, Colorado, with 3 days in the office. Travel is less than 10%. Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a comprehensive background screening.

Salary: $94,340–$104,940 per year

What you will do

• Complete the month-end close process and prepare accurate journal entries.
• Evaluate and record transactions in the general ledger, maintain fixed asset accounting, and apply capitalization policies.
• Analyze complex accounting transactions under US GAAP and prepare account reconciliations.
• Support the Accounting Manager by reviewing Staff Accountant work and preparing external audit documentation.
• Collaborate with Revenue Accounting, Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting, Tax, Finance, and Treasury teams.
• Identify process improvements and deliver reporting, analysis, and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years of prior work experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and successful completion of a comprehensive background screening are required.

Nice to have

• CPA certification and public accounting experience.
• Multi-entity and international accounting experience.
• NetSuite experience.
