Laboratory Technician (Sample Prep) - Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater Southeast - Orlando (Altamonte Springs), FL

Location: Altamonte Springs, FL, USA. Full-time on-site position, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Candidates must live within a commutable distance of Altamonte Springs.

Pay rate: $17/hour

What you will do

• Extract and digest environmental samples using organic solvents or acid.
• Measure sample volumes and weights with pipettors, balances, and graduated cylinders.
• Prepare laboratory standards.
• Maintain scientific logbooks and complete laboratory documentation.
• Clean glassware, dispose of samples, and provide general laboratory support as needed.
• Follow hirify.global standard operating procedures while working collaboratively and managing multiple tasks.

Requirements

• AA, AS, or BS degree in science or a related field.
• Basic laboratory experience is preferred but not required.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking, is required.
• Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
