Assistant Manager, Production- Coil Shop (HVAC)

What you will do

• Coordinate and direct team members across production activities.
• Plan, control, and prioritize work to meet quality standards, budgets, and deadlines.
• Oversee quality control and enforce workplace safety procedures.
• Manage inventory, materials, tools, equipment parts, and production reporting.
• Train and cross-train employees, identify potential leaders, and provide performance feedback.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and optimize production processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in production or manufacturing.
• Strong organizational, decision-making, quality-detail, troubleshooting, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to build a successful team and participate in or conduct production meetings.
• Ability to work in manufacturing conditions involving extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects, and forklift traffic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and regularly climb, stoop, walk, and sit for extended periods.

• First Aid and CPR certification.

• RCRA, DOT, or 608 Universal Refrigerant certification where applicable.
