ECM Operator (2nd Shift) (Aerospace)

Location: Laconia, New Hampshire, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

STS Aerospace in Laconia, New Hampshire, is seeking an ECM Operator to support aerospace manufacturing operations.

What you will do

• Perform visual and dimensional checks on materials and machined workpieces.
• Read blueprints and job orders to determine product specifications, tolerances, tooling instructions, and operation sequences.
• Select, position, and secure tubing in the saw.
• Set machine controls, fixtures, feeding devices, feeds, speeds, and cutting depths.
• Operate the machine and verify that finished workpieces conform to specifications.
• Stand, walk, handle materials, and occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months of related experience or training is acceptable.
• Ability to read blueprints or job orders and follow dimensional, tolerance, and tooling specifications.
• Ability to work consistently, regularly, predictably, and on time.
• Close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
