TL;DR
Electrical Mechanic Specialist (Industrial Manufacturing): Maintaining and optimizing complex golf ball production equipment with an accent on electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Focus on troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance, electromechanical calibration, equipment adaptation, and minimizing production downtime.

Location: Dartmouth, Massachusetts, United States; onsite, full-time Weekend A Shift

Salary: $38.95–$46.65 per hour

What you will do

  • Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, install, and optimize electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical production systems.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Rebuild and calibrate electromechanical devices, instruments, and controls.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to design or adapt equipment for changing production requirements.
  • Plan maintenance work, maintain accurate records, and test equipment against performance standards.
  • Support continuous improvement through effective communication with operators, team members, and leaders.

Requirements

  • One of the following: completed TPC curriculum plus 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience; an approved technical associate degree or certificate plus 3+ years of relevant experience; or 7+ years of industrial electrical skilled-trade experience with required TPC training for skill gaps.
  • Formal training in AC/DC circuits and basic PLC functionality, with experience in instrumentation, controls, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical or hydraulic schematics and use measuring tools and tolerances.
  • Experience using hand, power, and machine tools, including drills, lathes, and millers.
  • Working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout and NFPA 70E safety practices; reliable attendance and personal trade tools are required.
  • Proficient English reading, writing, and speaking skills, basic math and computer skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
