People Relations Specialist - 1 Year Project

Location: Hybrid role based out of the US Support Office in Secaucus, New Jersey, USA

Salary: $97,840–$122,300 annually

What you will do

• Support day-to-day People Relations activities, including conflict resolution, investigations, grievance cases, and policy interpretation.
• Handle escalated investigations and matters involving conflicts for HR Business Partners.
• Develop and implement local People Relations plans, social policies, guidelines, and legally required policy adaptations.
• Provide strategic and operational advice to local management and the HR Business Line.
• Govern compliance across the US Sales Market and maintain alignment with employment law and global grievance policies.
• Build relationships with employee representatives, support manager accountability, and contribute to risk assessments and crisis response.

Requirements

• At least two years of Employee or People Relations experience, or equivalent HR education combined with Employee Relations experience.
• Knowledge of US federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Experience developing, revising, and implementing HR policies and procedures for legal compliance.
• Commitment to human rights advocacy in the workplace.
• Experience designing, implementing, and managing occupational health and safety programs.
• Ability to work in the hybrid arrangement from the Secaucus, New Jersey support office.
