Location: Phoenix, AZ — CityScape; full-time onsite role

What you will do
- Lead banking operations teams and hold them accountable for qualitative and quantitative performance, service levels, documentation, and recordkeeping.
- Develop team charters, organizational responsibilities, leadership capability, and bench strength to support business growth and increasing complexity.
- Coach leaders on priorities, critical timeframes, process controls, operational goals, and data-driven performance improvements.
- Partner with operational transformation teams on process and product changes, enterprise projects, required resources, and issue escalation.
- Oversee first-line-of-defense controls, regulatory requirements, vendor monitoring, incident escalation, business continuity planning, and risk mitigation.
- Hire, coach, train, and manage the performance and development of team members while controlling operating expenses.
Requirements
- 7+ years of related experience in banking operations, deposit operations, or a similar field.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Previous leadership experience and demonstrated success managing in a highly matrixed organization.
- Advanced knowledge of banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, or commercial banking products and services.
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory, risk, legal compliance, industry standards, unclaimed property processing, IRS tax reporting and withholding, project management, and audit management.
- Advanced knowledge of operational governance design and strong written and verbal communication skills. Travel is less than 10%.
