Sr. Deposit Operations Specialist

Location: HQ - San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $18.00–$27.00 per hour, plus eligible annual discretionary cash and restricted stock unit bonus targets of 10% each.

What you will do

• Review, investigate, and act on potential fraud cases and alerts to mitigate losses.
• Monitor and arrange recovery of losses caused by fraudulent activity.
• Restrict, close, or reject questionable accounts and new account openings.
• Assist account holders affected by fraudulent activity.
• Communicate with bank employees, account holders, and financial institutions by phone, email, and letter.
• Escalate questionable activity through Questionable Activity Reports and verify compliance with bank policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 4+ years of banking experience in a retail or operational environment.
• Knowledge of banking products and services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Successful completion of credit, criminal background, and pre-employment drug checks is required.
