What you will do
- Coordinate confined-water training and introductory dives for non-certified guests and crew.
- Conduct open-water dives for appropriately certified guests and crew.
- Maintain diving, snorkelling, boat, compressor, and air-cylinder equipment, including logs, manuals, stocktakes, and condition reports.
- Lead snorkelling and diving activities, provide safety briefings, conduct risk assessments, and manage guest health and safety during excursions.
- Provide logistical and environmental guidance, including compliance with site regulations, permits, eco-tourism requirements, and protection of indigenous, historical, and wildlife sites.
- Support loading, disembarkation, vessel turnaround, gangway watch duties, and the overall cruise experience.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience as a PADI Dive Instructor.
- Experience in marine environments and remote locations.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Strong communication, public speaking, customer service, decision-making, troubleshooting, and pressure-management skills.
- Strong boat-handling experience is preferred; a manual driver’s licence is highly regarded.
- Passport required; intermediate Microsoft Office skills are expected.

- Degree in Natural Sciences or another relevant discipline.
