Instructional Aide - Elementary School (26-27)

Location: San Francisco, California, USA; onsite at KIPP Bayview Elementary

Salary: $20.92–$24.84 per hour, paid over a 12-month period including scheduled school and summer breaks.

What you will do

• Provide instructional support to individual students and small groups in special education and regular classroom settings.
• Assist with inclusive learning activities under the direction of the School Leader or another certificated employee.
• Help establish and implement classroom and school-wide behavior routines.
• Lead homework assistance, academic support, and enrichment activities for 60–80 elementary students after school.
• Perform assigned clerical and classroom support tasks.
• Work throughout the entire school year, including scheduled school breaks and summer break periods.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in a youth development organization planning and supervising activities, or equivalent experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent, plus an A.A. degree, a B.A. degree or at least 48 units in progress, or a passing ETS ParaPro Assessment or CBEST score.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with young people from diverse backgrounds, parents, and community leaders.
• Proficient use of Google Workspace applications, including Google Classroom, Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
