Senior HR Specialist

Location: Rochester, NY, USA; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: USD 90,000–105,000 yearly

What you will do

• Manage and optimise HR service delivery for the lead country and wider region.
• Manage employee lifecycle activities from onboarding through engagement and development initiatives.
• Support and lead HR delivery projects, people programmes, and regional initiatives.
• Handle complex employee relations matters, including performance, grievance, and conduct cases.
• Support compensation processes, payroll accuracy, governance, and compliance improvements.
• Mentor junior HR delivery colleagues and improve manager capability and performance management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; an HR or business qualification is advantageous.
• At least 6 years of HR experience, including HR operations or service delivery and complex employee relations management.
• Experience supporting annual people processes and coaching managers.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS, HR technologies, people metrics, and reporting.
• Fluency in the local language of the lead country and proficient spoken and written business English are required.
