Regional Quality Manager (Solar Renewable Energy)

Location: Remote from Arizona, United States, with regular travel to project sites in the Southwest

Salary: $116,812–$146,016 per year

What you will do

• Develop and implement project quality plans aligned with quality management systems, standard operating procedures, and contract requirements.
• Conduct inspections, First Article Inspections, formal audits, and documentation reviews across PV EPC projects.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials, components, systems, installation processes, and vendor performance.
• Train and guide field teams on quality assurance, quality control, documentation, installation procedures, and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, clients, and regulatory agencies to resolve quality issues.
• Perform root cause analysis using 5-Why or 8D methods, implement CAPA plans, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least five years of quality management experience in the solar or renewable energy industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality control methodologies, electrical construction, and electrical safety.
• Experience interpreting construction drawings and installation procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with quality management software and tools, including the ability to learn and use the Sunscreen platform.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30, Journeyman, or comparable credentials.
