Frontend Software Engineer (Next.js)

What you will do

• Build and maintain high-quality interfaces with Next.js and modern web technologies.
• Develop fast, accessible, responsive, and visually polished components, pages, and interactions.
• Work with product and design to turn requirements into intuitive user experiences.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and real-time systems.
• Optimize rendering, performance, caching, and frontend architecture for scale.
• Contribute to component libraries, design systems, code reviews, documentation, tooling, and frontend developer experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in frontend engineering or a closely related role.
• Strong proficiency with React and Next.js, including server components, routing, and data fetching.
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience delivering production-quality interfaces in fast-paced environments.
• Understanding of frontend performance optimization, accessibility, responsive design, APIs, real-time data sources, and backend integration.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with design systems, component libraries, or UI frameworks.
• Familiarity with real-time or event-driven UI patterns.
• Experience with edge rendering, hybrid SSR/ISR, or advanced Next.js features.
• Startup or scale-up experience and contributions to open-source JavaScript or frontend tooling.
