TL;DR
Senior Director – Infrastructure & Energy Credit (Infrastructure and Energy Private Credit): Originate, structure, execute, and manage global infrastructure and energy high-yield private credit investments with an accent on credit analysis, financial modelling, due diligence, and risk management. Focus on negotiating complex financing documentation, monitoring portfolio performance, preparing investment committee and investor materials, supporting fundraising, and mentoring junior colleagues.
Location: Madrid, Spain. Hybrid working model with flexible hours, combining remote work and onsite presence.

What you will do
- Originate and evaluate infrastructure and energy high-yield private credit opportunities across geographies.
- Structure transactions and lead detailed credit, business model, cash flow, and risk analyses.
- Conduct financial, legal, ESG, technical, regulatory, and market due diligence.
- Prepare screening materials, investment committee memoranda, investment recommendations, and transaction documentation.
- Lead execution, term sheet and financing agreement negotiations, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor portfolio assets, covenant compliance, ESG and financial performance, investor reporting, NAV processes, fundraising, and development of new investment strategies.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of professional experience investing in junior infrastructure and energy credit within an alternative finance provider or asset manager.
- Proven track record in originating, analysing, structuring, and executing infrastructure junior credit investments.
- Experience with comprehensive due diligence, financial modelling, legal documentation, portfolio monitoring, fund reporting, and NAV oversight.
- Experience supporting fundraising for infrastructure private credit funds and interacting with institutional investors.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure and energy financing, private credit transactions, credit structuring, financial analysis, and risk management.
- Proficiency in English required. A degree in engineering, business administration, economics, mathematics, or a related discipline is preferred.
