Regional Quality Manager (Chemical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Provide functional oversight and governance for quality operations across multiple manufacturing plants in Latin America.
• Implement, maintain, standardize, and continuously improve Quality Management Systems in line with customer, corporate, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Oversee audits, inspections, nonconformances, customer complaints, CAPAs, deviations, investigations, and product-release decisions.
• Analyze quality and operational data, establish regional performance objectives, and lead improvement roadmaps to reduce deviations and cost of poor quality.
• Develop structured problem-solving capability using methods such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, DMAIC, and root-cause analysis.
• Lead site Quality Managers, Quality Engineers, and specialists while building capability and succession plans across the region.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Quality Management; a master’s degree is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• At least 10 years of quality experience in a global chemical manufacturing environment and at least 6 years of people leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 17025, IATF 16949, and other customer, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Experience managing quality systems, process standardization, audits, quality investigations, improvement projects, supplier quality, and customer complaints.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, with strong communication, negotiation, change management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
