Consulting Principal - Strategy, People & Operations - Not for Profit Sector

Location: New York City, United States; travel to client sites, firm meetings, and industry events as needed.

What you will do

• Advise nonprofit CEOs, CFOs, COOs, CHROs, boards, and other senior stakeholders on organizational, operational, people, financial, and transformation challenges.
• Originate and expand consulting opportunities, manage executive relationships, lead strategic pursuits, and develop proposals and client solutions.
• Shape and lead complex engagements covering strategy, operating models, organizational effectiveness, workforce capabilities, process improvement, technology enablement, and implementation.
• Develop transformation road maps, performance measures, governance structures, and implementation approaches that support sustainable results.
• Provide executive oversight for engagement quality, client experience, financial performance, risk management, and outcomes.
• Build hirify.global’s nonprofit practice through thought leadership, methodologies, solution development, recruiting, mentoring, and professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive professional experience in management consulting, professional services, or a comparable advisory environment.
• Meaningful experience working with or advising nonprofit and mission-driven organizations.
• Broad experience in organizational strategy, organizational effectiveness, operating models, transformation, financial and operational improvement, people, or change, with depth in one or more areas.
• Experience leading complex multidisciplinary engagements and teams from assessment and strategy through implementation.
• Strong executive presence, business and financial acumen, communication, facilitation, relationship-building, mentoring, and practice-development skills.

• Experience building, scaling, or leading a consulting capability, practice, or market offering.
• Advanced degree.
