Analyst II - Process Planning Systems

What you will do

• Analyze, evaluate, and support rule-based router systems used to create and maintain product lineups.
• Translate manufacturing capabilities, resources, and business processes into technology solutions.
• Develop and maintain process planning applications using object-oriented programming, Knowledge Base Systems, and AION Language.
• Gather and document requirements through knowledge-acquisition sessions with subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support system design, testing, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Provide user support and guidance to less experienced analysts while contributing to project teams and maintaining system documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a two-year or four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Two or more years of experience with manufacturing processes and Knowledge Base Systems.
• Working knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and advanced knowledge of Knowledge Base Systems and AION Language.
• Understanding of knowledge acquisition, system design, testing, and implementation methodologies.
• Ability to solve straightforward to moderately complex business and technical problems, prioritize assignments, and work independently with moderate guidance.
• Strong communication, requirements-gathering, collaboration, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
