Casualty Junior Underwriter TEMPORARY

Location: Madrid, Spain; primarily office-based

hirify.global provides commercial and personal insurance solutions through a global property and casualty insurance network.

What you will do

• Support underwriters with end-to-end processing of new and renewal casualty business.
• Help develop and deliver tailored insurance solutions.
• Set up, update, and bind underwriting systems and support platforms.
• Perform data analytics and prepare referral documentation, form checklists, and working approvals.
• Research renewal accounts, including claims records and expiry conditions, using hirify.global tools.
• Support product and endorsement amendments, respond to routine broker and insured queries, and follow up on liability policies.

Requirements

• Some insurance industry experience, preferably in casualty underwriting.
• Law or Business Administration degree preferred.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, required.
• Good communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• Outgoing, entrepreneurial, client-focused, and solution-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Experience from an industry-related summer internship.
