Plant Quality Leader

Location: Spring Hill, Kansas, USA. Workplace type: Onsite.

Salary: $61,800–$113,100 for Zone C, $68,000–$124,500 for Zone B, or $74,200–$135,800 for Zone A, depending on work location and labor market. Eligible for participation in incentive plans.

What you will do

• Lead the plant Quality function, including Quality Control, Laboratory, and Compliance activities.
• Develop, implement, and manage operational Quality Management System processes, SOPs, environmental monitoring, and document control.
• Analyze QMS health, report issues to senior management, and serve as the primary contact for regulatory and third-party inspections and audits.
• Manage manufacturer release, internal auditing, Annual Product Review, and Quality Management Review activities.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to improve capability, reduce waste, defects, and variation, and increase operational performance.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, R&D, and other functions to improve product design and supply quality while developing a high-performing plant quality organization.

Requirements

• 3+ years of manufacturing quality experience.
• Proven ability to lead plant-wide quality initiatives, drive accountability, and build a continuous improvement culture.
• Experience identifying root causes, reducing defects and variation, and implementing quality systems that improve process capability and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to partner effectively with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer teams and coach high-performing teams.
• Experience with SAP.
• BS/BA degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
