What you will do

• Perform and coordinate field inspections to verify installation quality across architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and approved submittals to plan inspections and verify compliance.
• Identify, document, track, and help resolve quality deficiencies with project teams and trade partners.
• Maintain inspection records, reports, checklists, deficiency logs, and turnover documentation.
• Verify system readiness for testing, startup, commissioning, and turnover activities.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, field teams, QA/QC leadership, and trade partners on quality requirements and corrective actions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or Construction Science is preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction, QA/QC, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in mission-critical projects, such as commissioning, QA/QC, superintendent, or MEP coordination work.
• Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, approved submittals, installation methods, applicable codes, and major building systems.
• Experience with QA/QC documentation, inspection reporting, deficiency tracking, document control, and construction collaboration software.
• Familiarity with commissioning, system startup, testing, inspection tools, field verification equipment, and turnover documentation.
