QAQC Manager

Location: North Shoreline Boulevard, Corpus Christi, Texas; full-time, onsite role

Salary: $132,708.77–$151,667.16 per year

hirify.global is supporting a large-scale, mission-critical project through its PMCM group in Texas.

What you will do

• Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the project-specific QA/QC program and quality management strategy.
• Coordinate quality objectives with project leadership, design professionals, construction teams, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Develop quality plans, inspection and testing procedures, audit protocols, checklists, and documentation requirements.
• Oversee inspections, audits, testing activities, surveillances, and quality reviews for compliance with project requirements, codes, standards, and contracts.
• Identify quality risks and deficiencies, oversee root-cause analysis, and manage nonconformance and corrective-action processes through resolution.
• Monitor quality metrics, maintain project quality records and turnover packages, and lead and mentor quality personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, quality management, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 10 years of related quality, engineering, construction, or project management experience, preferably on large and complex construction programs.
• Experience developing, implementing, and managing QA/QC programs and Quality Management Systems.
• Strong knowledge of construction quality processes, inspections, testing, nonconformance management, corrective actions, documentation, applicable codes, and industry standards.
• Leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups and manage competing priorities.
• Relevant quality certifications or experience with ISO 9001, ASQ certifications, or similar credentials is preferred.

• Experience with mission-critical, data center, advanced technology, healthcare, industrial, or other technically complex projects.
• Relevant quality certifications or recognized industry credentials.
