Warehouse Coordinator

Location: Colonial Heights, Virginia, USA; onsite

Salary: $24.75 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate distribution facility activities, warehouse procedures, inventory, and merchandise handling.
• Review bills of lading, plan work activities, assign warehouse duties, and support loading, unloading, picking, and sorting.
• Verify customer pickup and shipment orders, print bin-route orders, and coordinate order adjustments, cuts, credits, and related issues.
• Communicate daily with Customer Service/Planning, Sales, Transportation, Finance, plants, and outside carriers.
• Maintain accurate records, spreadsheets, databases, timekeeping, expenses, inventory, safety, and food safety information.
• Report and address safety, food safety, site security, employee policy, and damaged-merchandise issues; provide coverage for depot leadership when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related warehouse or depot experience.
• Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, reach, handle materials, and perform occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Ability to follow safety, food safety, and site security procedures and communicate professionally.
