Director, Continuous Improvement and Industry 4.0

Location: Based at the Rodange facility in Luxembourg; candidates may reside near manufacturing hubs in Luxembourg, France, the UK, Germany, or Belgium.

Salary: EUR 116,340–186,144 per year

What you will do

• Lead the central Enterprise Lean System function and establish regional operational and supply chain standards.
• Govern manufacturing practices including 5S, Standard Work Audits, Kaizen, SMED, TPM, and OEE loss analysis.
• Build a regional training academy with Yellow, Green, and Black Belt certification pathways and Train-the-Trainer programs.
• Lead strategic deployment, annual operating planning, Catchball alignment, and monthly PDCA governance across business functions.
• Drive Industry 4.0 transformation through AI-driven predictive models, shopfloor IoT, control towers, cognitive automation, and digital twins.
• Capture local innovations and scale validated improvements through a regional Gold Standard playbook while mentoring the central team.

Requirements

• Extensive experience leading Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement functions at regional or global scale.
• Proven experience implementing Industry 4.0 solutions such as IoT, predictive maintenance, AI, or digital twins in manufacturing.
• Ability to design, document, and scale operational systems and standards.
• Expertise in Hoshin Kanri and strategic deployment, with the ability to align shopfloor and executive stakeholders.
• Experience building capability, leading training academies, and mentoring operational leaders.
• Work from or near a major manufacturing hub in Luxembourg, France, the UK, Germany, or Belgium.
