Civil Engineering Project Coordinator

Location: Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Full-time work with travel to project sites and facilities across Canada and the United States as required.

Salary: CAD 60,000–68,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support the planning, execution, and delivery of civil infrastructure, site development, and construction projects.
• Prepare project charters, scopes of work, tender packages, RFQs, schedules, cost estimates, forecasts, and project reports.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, suppliers, surveyors, geotechnical engineers, municipalities, utilities, and regulatory agencies.
• Support procurement, bid evaluations, contract administration, change management, project controls, and construction closeout.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, construction progress reviews, and contractor performance assessments.
• Review engineering drawings, surveys, specifications, grading plans, stormwater reports, site servicing designs, and existing site conditions.

Requirements

• Advanced Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in civil engineering, site development, infrastructure, land development, or construction projects; co-op and internship experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, grading, drainage, stormwater management, underground servicing, construction practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and project documentation.
• Valid Class G driver’s license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel, including occasional travel to the United States.
• Strong organizational, communication, multitasking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
