Senior Demand Planner (PVF)

Location: Oak Brook, Illinois, United States; hybrid workplace

Salary: $85,000–$108,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Own demand planning for a key set of customer accounts and collaborate directly with customers.
• Develop and update forecasts using historical sales, market trends, and customer insights.
• Lead end-to-end planning for demand-driven projects, including scope, milestones, documentation, and stakeholder reporting.
• Support the SIOP process by incorporating customer needs, project requirements, and commercial intelligence.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Supply Planning teams to align forecasts and mitigate supply risks.
• Track forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory turns, and fill rates while supporting continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Distribution, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management.
• Experience with ERP systems and forecasting software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, communication, and customer collaboration skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and working knowledge of supply chain, inventory management, and procurement processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in the pipe, valve, and fittings or industrial distribution industry.
• Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder (JDA) demand planning solutions.
• APICS CSCP, CPIM, or another supply chain certification.
• Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
