Principal Technical Manufacturing Architect (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Remote, Oregon, United States. Salary: $155,900–$204,645 per year, depending on experience, skills, and background.

What you will do

• Architect and support INFICON FPS Digital Twin solutions for visualizing and simulating real-time smart factory conditions.
• Design and execute ETL integrations from PROMIS MES, XSite, equipment management systems, and manufacturing databases into the FPS Data Warehouse.
• Implement, configure, upgrade, and tune PROMIS MES and related manufacturing applications in semiconductor fabrication environments.
• Resolve complex issues in high-availability, production-critical manufacturing systems.
• Partner with IT stakeholders, manufacturing operations managers, engineers, and equipment engineers.
• Drive automation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across manufacturing systems and reporting platforms.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, 12 years with a master’s degree, 8 years with a PhD, or equivalent experience.
• Senior-level architectural and technical responsibility in semiconductor manufacturing systems and factory automation.
• Hands-on experience with INFICON FPS Digital Twin, factory scheduling systems, and manufacturing reporting platforms.
• Expertise in PROMIS MES flows, steps, branching, routing logic, system parameters, workflows, and user interfaces.
• Strong ETL, data integration, database management, and SQL skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems in fast-paced, production-critical environments and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
