Company

hirify.global delivers mission and technical expertise for national security, technology, and defense challenges.

What you will do

  • Lead reliability engineering for fielded and in-production RF electronic warfare systems, maintaining reliability requirements, allocations, and verification artifacts.
  • Perform MTBF/MTTF predictions, reliability block diagrams, fault-tree analyses, FMEA/FMECA, Weibull analysis, and reliability growth modeling.
  • Plan and analyze qualification, environmental, accelerated-life, HALT/HASS, and RF stress testing using MIL-STD-810 and program specifications.
  • Conduct RF component and board-level failure analysis, root-cause investigations, and closed-loop corrective actions through FRACAS.
  • Apply derating and thermal-management analysis to high-power RF components and manage screening, EEE parts, obsolescence, and DMSMS risks.
  • Support production and sustainment reviews, qualification and acceptance procedures, and mentor junior reliability engineers.

Requirements

  • Active Secret or higher security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, reliability engineering, physics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of reliability engineering experience, including significant RF, microwave, or wireless hardware experience.
  • Experience with defense, aerospace, or other regulated high-reliability hardware in production or sustainment.
  • Working knowledge of RF fundamentals, components, measurements, S-parameters, impedance matching, link budgets, noise figure, gain, and compression.
  • Expertise in FMEA/FMECA, reliability block diagrams, fault-tree analysis, Weibull and statistical life-data analysis, MIL-HDBK-217, environmental testing, failure analysis, FRACAS, and data analysis using Excel plus Python, R, MATLAB, Minitab, or JMP.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree or ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer certification.
  • Direct electronic warfare experience with ECM/ECCM, jammers, EW receivers, DRFM, wideband RF, or high-power RF systems.
  • Experience with defense RAM standards including GEIA-STD-0009 and MIL-STD-785.
  • Hands-on experience with vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
  • Experience with RF reliability challenges in airborne, shipboard, or ground-platform installations.

Culture & Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Health Savings Account with company contribution.
  • Annual paid time off, paid holidays, and paid parental leave.
  • 401(k) with company match.
