Program Director, Space (Aerospace)

Location: Moorpark, California, United States; onsite, full-time

Base salary: $230,000–$260,000 per year

What you will do

• Own end-to-end program performance across cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary customer interface and build trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams delivering complex aerospace and space programs.
• Drive execution discipline, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with business leaders on growth, profitability, and strategic objectives.
• Align customer expectations with internal execution capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience as a Program Director or senior program leader in aerospace, defense, or space.
• Experience managing complex mechanical, electro-mechanical, or energetics programs.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance customer needs with business outcomes.
• Experience leading high-visibility, customer-facing programs with significant accountability.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
