TL;DR
Director Technical Program Manager - Blue National Security (Aerospace): Leading programmatic operations for highly complex Blue Ring portfolio projects with an accent on technical execution, budget, schedule, risk, and customer deliverables. Focus on establishing program baselines, managing recovery plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving aerospace development programs from concept through delivery.

Location: Denver, CO. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, refugees, or individuals granted asylum in the United States. Relocation assistance is provided.

Base pay for Colorado applicants: $192,378–$269,328.15 per year; ranges may differ by site.

What you will do

  • Lead execution and management of program deliverables, performance to plan, and customer statement-of-work completion for the Blue Ring portfolio.
  • Coordinate technical scope, budget, schedule, staffing, financial planning, cash flow, risks, and contractual data requirements.
  • Manage customer relationships from pre-solicitation through launch, delivery, and operations.
  • Establish program baselines, detailed planning, execution reporting, and recovery plans with Program Planning & Control, Finance, Procurement, and Cost Engineering.
  • Organize operating reviews, staff meetings, corporate reporting, and planning cycles while tracking action items.
  • Represent business unit interests in proposals and lead sign-off on scope, pricing, cost, and resource allocation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of program management or program planning experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Experience with aerospace development programs and/or space systems.
  • Strong understanding of DFARS-based contracts and experience leading civil and commercial programs from concept through delivery.
  • Experience establishing structured operating environments across varied workforces and multifaceted portfolios.
  • U.S. employment eligibility is required under export control regulations.

Nice to have

  • Active Top Secret clearance, with Sensitive Compartmented Information preferred.
  • Experience in dynamic, growing organizations covering planning, budget, schedule, quality, deliverables, reporting, staffing, facilities, and interfaces.
  • Demonstrated experience managing development projects and programs.
