Construction Manager (Transportation)

Location: Empire State Building, New York, New York; full-time onsite role

Salary: $149,671.54–$171,053.19 per year

What you will do

• Manage field oversight and project documentation for transportation construction projects.
• Coordinate with field staff on construction inspections and review construction drawings.
• Inspect construction activities and coordinate work with public and private agencies.
• Review and monitor contractor performance for contract compliance.
• Submit daily reports and serve as the owner's onsite representative.
• Coordinate and monitor quality and substantial conformance with contract documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• 15+ years of relevant infrastructure construction experience.
• Experience as an inspector on rail, tunnel, roadway, or utility rehabilitation projects.
• Working knowledge of policies, procedures, and specifications for City Reconstruction Contracts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and time-management skills.
